A former Burlington elementary school staffer faces sex assault charges after being accused of making “inappropriate physical contact” with students in multiple instances.Fox6Now.com adds that Daniel Powers was also terminated from his job earlier this month amid accusations he violated school district policy.All told, Powers, who was taken into custody on April 25, faces three counts of referred charges of repeated sexual assault of a child and three counts of misconduct in office after officials from the Racine County Sheriff’s Office said investigators developed probable cause that Powers "victimized multiple students."Fox News adds the alleged contact took place over a yearlong period commencing in 2021 and came to light after a parent whose children attend Dyer Elementary School reported "multiple instances" of a staffer's inappropriate physical contact with students.
