There were 2,876 students enrolled in Burlington Area School District in the 2024-25 school year, 1.5% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2024-25 school year, 50.6% identified themselves as boys, 49.4% as girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 77.6% of the Burlington Area School District total enrollment.

Burlington Area School District covers eight schools within Racine County, with its main office in Burlington.

Among the eight schools in the district, Burlington High School recorded the highest enrollment of 880 students in the 2024-25 school year.

Wisconsin had a student-to-teacher ratio of 14-to-1 in 2025, lower than the national average of 16-to-1, according to Public School Review.
