The Village of Mount Pleasant Parks and Recreation Department will host its sixth annual Trunk or Treat event at Campus Park on Saturday, October 18. The event is scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 8500 Campus Drive.

Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and participate in trick-or-treating along the park’s pathways, where local businesses and organizations will distribute candy from decorated booths. The Parks and Recreation team will organize games such as ring toss and sucker pull. Children can also join a costume parade on the main stage.

The event is free and designed for families, providing a safe environment for children to trick-or-treat away from traffic. Parking will be available along Campus Drive and in nearby Village Hall lots. Children must be accompanied by adults during the event.

Local businesses and organizations interested in participating have until October 3 to register for a booth by completing an online application form. In exchange for a donation supporting Village Parks and Recreation programs, participants can decorate their space, hand out candy, and promote their services.

For further information about the event, residents can contact the Mount Pleasant Parks and Recreation Department at (262) 664-7840.
