On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Union Grove High School standout Josh Degroot’s current college team, the McNeese State Cowboys, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.

The game took place at Joe Miller Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Golden Grizzlies this season.

The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at Joe Miller Ballpark against Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.
