Students from Horlick High School's construction pathways program are engaged in building a model tiny home intended for veterans in Racine. This initiative is part of an effort to address the issue of veteran homelessness in Wisconsin, where over 300,000 veterans reside and nearly 400 face homelessness according to data from the Housing Assistance Council.

The project is being carried out in collaboration with Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin (VOW), aiming to provide housing solutions at the veteran village. A group of students is working on this endeavor as a means to contribute positively to the community and support those who have served.
