The Racine Unified School District (RUSD) has announced the opening of submissions for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay & Art Contest. Students across all grade levels are encouraged to participate by creating an essay or artwork inspired by a statement from Dr. King: “Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'”

The contest provides an opportunity for students to reflect on the impact of Dr. King's words and express their thoughts creatively. Submissions must be entered by December 17.
