Racine's Common Council is set to discuss the progression of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center and health center project at its meeting on August 20. This follows a presentation made to the alders during the Finance and Personnel Committee meeting on August 12.

The materials shared with the committee included a project presentation PowerPoint featuring renderings, a document of frequently asked questions about the King Center available in both English and Spanish, and a draft resolution.

The proposal aims to establish a community center that will also function as a health center, serving local residents by providing various services and resources.
