Racine’s Common Council is set to deliberate on the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center and health center project during its meeting on August 20. The proposal was discussed at the Finance and Personnel Committee meeting held on August 12, where various materials were presented to the council members.

The materials included a project presentation PowerPoint featuring renderings of the proposed center, a document with frequently asked questions available in both English and Spanish, and a draft resolution outlining the project's specifics.

The decision on whether to advance this community initiative will be made in the upcoming council meeting.
