Beginner's YO-YO CLASS Learn to Yo-Yo like a pro! ages 8-108

$45/person: includes excellent quality, high tech, a long spinning $30 ball bearing yo-yo to keep & professional instructionClass is for ages 8-108, though not younger.
AND learn yo-yo techniques, power throw, custom fitting, maintenance tips, when & how to change the string, and 5-10 CLASSIC yo-yo tricks! Depending on the group: tricks introduced may include gravity gripper, sleeper, forward pass, hop-the-fence, the slapper, breakaway, around-the-world, walk-the-dog, rock-the baby, ice cream cone, star, elevator and the creeper.
Coaching, individual help and encouragement for individuals are part of the class. Learn a few tips about being in a contest, too.
The instructor has appeared on national Television, yo-yoed with the Smothers Brothers, taught thousands to yo-yo, placed in contests, conducted contests, is the director of the annual Yo-Yo & Skill Toys Convention and has been featured in magazines and newspapers.
Doors for classes open just 10 minutes prior to class time. For students taking the class: parents should come in to meet the instructor and to sign permission, etc. Parents may take the class, too, by paying the same fee, too. Any adults may take the class, also.
Adult groups, family groups, kids groups may also schedule a time for their group.
For family members or drivers not staying for the class, there are many things to enjoy downtown historic Burlington, WI: All within 1-4 blocks of us! Downtown: antiques, card & gift shops, shoe store, candy & toy shops, flower shops, hobby shop, clock shops, bridal shop, bead shop, interior decorating, restaurants, coffee shops, fashion clothing resale shop, seasonal custard stand, ice cream shop, 4 museums! and a great city library and a beautiful park (with lake, waterfall, Wisconsin Historical Marker), a river walkway, another park with a vintage and legacy garden, a local movie theater and a famous custard stand! (open seasonal.) And a Lincoln statue installed in 1913 (5.5 blocks.)
Parking is free on the street for 2 hours. Free all day parking in city parking lots.
The museum's toy/gift shop is open after the class with 50 kinds of yo-yos, strings, etc. for sale.
OTHER WORKSHOPS are offered this date before the yo-yo class, too..--. Gyroscope workshop at 11 am,--Learn to throw the skill peg top class at 1 pm. Call for details. (separate fees)
