Racine has a volunteer club for the curling community to enjoy with friends, family or colleagues.
The Curling Club hosts team sports events, and the best thing about this sport is that it's for all generations.
"We are planning some future Learn2Curl open houses in February. But the dates have not been confirmed yet. We will be sharing those dates later this week on our Facebook page and on our website racinecurlingclub.com," said Gail Armstrong, President, Racine Curling Club.
The Racine Curling Club is inviting people in the community to come out and try the sport as interest in it increases due to the U.S. men's team defending their gold medal in the sport at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
One of the draws of the sport is that it is extremely accessible to beginners, and while it is a full sport with techniques and skills involved, it's also one of the few winter sports where a casual game can involve a drink, unlike more intense sports.
The Club has about 110 members and is welcoming to all ages and skill levels.
