City Of Racine recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Racine Department of Public Works will begin the fall collection of leaves on Monday, October 4, 2021. Leaves that residents rake into the street gutters will be collected through November 30, 2021. Prepared branches (cut 4’ long, no branch greater than 3” diameter and bundled with twine or rope no greater than 2’diameter) and yard waste are allowed to be placed in the street during this time. Yard waste/leaves/prepared branches must be placed in the street no earlier than the day before and no later than 7:00 am the day of your scheduled collection day as indicated below.
