fter a difficult year off in 2020, we are thrilled to announce that the 8th annual Tall Tales Music Festival will return this year on August 13-14 in historic downtown Burlington, WI.

We’re looking forward to an amazing weekend full of live music from some of the best emerging artists in the country, including:

John Moreland

Hailey Whitters

Cedric Burnside

The New Respects

Bre Kennedy

Smooth Hound Smith

SG Goodman

The festival grounds are located in the heart of downtown Burlington, from The Loop down to The Coffee House at Chestnut & Pine.  The festival will open at 4:30pm on Friday evening, and we’ll keep the beer tent and live music going until 11pm.

On Saturday morning, we kick things off at 10am with music workshops, games & activities for kids of all ages. The Acoustic Stage, presented by Thrivent Financial, will feature a variety of local musicians to enjoy throughout the day.

We’ll finish up the day enjoying more live music from the Main Stage until 11pm.

And as always, you can be sure that we’ll be featuring a variety of great local craft beer and wine, as well as eats from our favorite downtown restaurants.

This is a weekend we look forward to all year, and after a difficult year off in 2020, we hope that you can join us to celebrate our community and all it has to offer.

Explore our historic downtown—walk the streets, check out the shops, and enjoy our local restaurants, all while listening to some seriously good music. And best of all, the festival is FREE!
