City of Racine issued the following announcement on June 17.
This Saturday, June 19th, is a celebration of the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, formally named Juneteenth.
In honor of this historic event, Racine will host a city-wide celebration at the Dr. John Bryant Community Center.
