City of Racine issued the following announcement on June 12.
The City thanks Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes for visiting Racine.
He spoke with some great business owners about the impact of COVID on them over the past year (Dragon Pit BBQ, Bonifide Nutrition, Market on Main, Black Hand Tattoo Gallery, The main project and cafe on state, Taste Of Soul 262).
He held a community round table on the impacts of COVID-19 on COC and the work we needs to be done to get people vaccinate (thanks to the owner of The Main Project for hosting), and he visited the Horlick site where the first apartment building is nearly complete and ready to rent.
