Honoring our Nation's heros on Memorial Day, and everyday. Thank you for your sacrifice.
Everyone honors differently.
As an organization, we honor by participating in the Murph Challenge. Two of our Firefighters that completed today’s Murph Challenge have a different perspective:
(CPL, USMC) served as a Combat Engineer with 8th Engineer Support Battalion in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. While he came home, many of his friends he served with did not.
(SGT, USMC) served stateside as an Avionics Technician, where members of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 and MAWTS-1 did not return home.
Together, and United As One, we honor those fallen service members on this Memorial Day.
We don’t know them all, but we owe them all. Let us never forget.
