Racine County Sheriff's Office Media Release

On 6/1/21 at 1246 hours the Racine County Communication Center received a call from Union Grove High School about a suspicious person.  Racine County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the school where they spoke with a 15-year-old student.  The student informed Deputies that while walking to school today at approximately 07:15 AM, a male driving a newer model, gray, 4 door, pickup truck with an open bed, offered him a ride.  The student did not know the male and declined the offer.  The male circled back on 11th Ave. past the student two additional times while offering a ride three more times.  The male is described as a man in approximately his 50’s with grayish brown hair, and short gray facial hair.

The Sheriff’s Office investigation is ongoing, and additional leads are being investigated.  Anyone experiencing similar situations or who may have further knowledge of the situation is asked to contact the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.
