Racine County Rep. Greta Neubauer is encouraging residents to take advantage of job search help available through the Racine Public Library in July.

“Looking for help in getting your career off the ground? Look no further,” Neubauer said in a tweet Monday. “The Racine Public Library is hosting career development sessions throughout July.”

The Job Center of Wisconsin and the Racine Public Library are partnering to offer job search and skills training assistance for community residents at pop up workshops, according to the library website. These workshops will offer several services including assistance with resume writing, interview practice, applying for unemployment benefits and registering on the Job Center of Wisconsin website.

There will also be four workshops held every Tuesday in July from 9 to 11: 30 a.m., the library’s website stated. Registration or sign up is not required to participate in the workshops.  Virtual workshops will also be available.

The Racine Public Library has multiple job search aides, including local job search tools and websites linked on the library’s site, a list of papers and websites that post job listings across the area and links and guides to sites like LinkedIn and BadgerLink Career resources, according to the library’s website.
