Heat Advisory In Effect
0Comments

City Of Racine issued the following announcement on June 14.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for Racine and the rest of Southeastern Wisconsin from 11 AM Tuesday, June 14, to 8 PM  Wednesday, June 15. The air temperature combined with humidity will lead to heat index values of 100 to 105 during the hottest part of the day.

Take steps to ensure that yourself and your family, including pets, are kept safe during this dangerously hot weather. This includes staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and limiting activities outdoors or in areas without air conditioning during the hottest times of the day. NEVER leave children, disabled adults, or pets alone in vehicles. Check on neighbors, especially adults over 65 and those who do not have air conditioning.
