Village Of Mount Pleasant issued the following announcement on April 6.
Tornado & Severe Weather Awareness Week
A statewide tornado drill is a perennial part of this week’s activities and this year it is scheduled to occur this Thursday, April 7th at 1:45 PM and 6:45 PM. The backup date is the following day, Friday the 8th, in case of inclement weather. The tests will include NOAA weather radio activation as well as activation of the outdoor warning sirens in our county.
